Cid photographs reveal a certain part of the personal life of the artist but they simultaneously offer a glimpse of the crisis between the past and the future of our contemporary society. On the one hand, Cid work functions as an investigation of a shift in the relationship between Human Beings. It draw attention to the often romanticized rage of his characters against themselves as they struggle to articulate a sense of identity. Felix R. Cid was born in 1976 in Madrid, Spain where he started his studies in Fine Art and Photography, and soon began to publish his work in different European media. Then he lived and worked in London before moving to New York where he graduated at the International Center of Photography in 2004. He lives and works in Brooklyn.
